I haven't done enough folklore art lately - have to fix that immediately.
Some of you might already know that my plan was to go and study folkloristics in Helsinki if my art education goal was going fail. It's still a subject I have keen interest towards, I used to dance Finnish folkdances, I liste a lot folkmusic and read books of the matter.
Anyway, this fishy was inspired my Kalevala and story how Kantele of Väinämöinen (Kantele is a small Finnish/Karelian instrument that reminds zither) was made out of jaw bone of Northen Pike.
Kind of a cliche for me to draw it but näh^^I wanted to^^

BTW; I was listening when drawing this funfun piece of music by Troka [link] - it's music that's made based on Finnish tradition and classical strings^^
