Cola Bottle Baby

This painting was a spesific request of my little sister, who asker somewhat retro-styled Coca-Cola bottle for her kichen wall, as she has stylish retro feeling going on in her apartment. Walls lls are rather pale, so painting was in order.

Though it didn't come out that much as retro, at first it was kind of simplistic and cool, and then I went nuts with colors. (Surprise surperise)

In the end Suvi was pleased, though she did complain about pinkish-red lines she felt were weird. I cannot really argue. They just felt like a good idea at the time. If she had really hated them, I would have painted them over.

I know, letter are not completely straight, it was an accident. I would have painted them again if Suvi had noticed, but she didn't mind, so I left them be.

The biggest mistake I made was to use wrong kind of base for this painting, as my cheapish paintswill start to crack a bit over time (an I really should have used waterproof colors), but I said to Suvi that if someone askes about the cracks, she'll have to say they're there on purpose.

And anyway, she didn't ask for anything that will last for a lifetime, it's just something she decorates her kichen wall.

I rather like this one myself, something new, you know^^
